~WINTER ELECTUARY~

this listing is for a 2 oz amber glass jar with gold lid and inner liner.

ABOUT THIS ITEM

Electuaries are a wonderful way to take plant medicines. They are made by adding powdered whole plant matter into honey. This allows the herbs to not only infuse and extract into he honey but be taken as a whole plant.

This blend is made with raw honey that has been infused with anise hyssop leaves and flowers with slippery elm bark and ginger root added. Annise hyssop is used for treating colds, coughs, congestion, sore throat and fevers as well as upset stomach including bloating and indigestion. Slippey Elm is mucilaginous, meaning it helps to sooth inflamed tissues, coat and sooth the throat and digestion, and help to hold in moisture, which is perfect for the dry winter months. Ginger root is warming and perfect for cold and sore throat as well as keep digestive fire moving and help with upset stomach.
