ABOUT THIS ITEM:

Balm of Gilead are the resinous buds of the black poplar, or cottonwood tree. They can only be harvested in the late winter/ early spring when the tree is preparing to come out of its winter state. They are wonderfully scented and quite potent.


Balm of gilead buds contain salicylates, which is an analgesic and pain reducer.


This balm is used for treating pain and inflammation, specifically pain in the joints and tissues, sprains, strains, It works well for arthritic pain, sprains, overused muscles, and sore joints.


Balm of Gilead buds are also anti-sceptic and anti-microbial so this salve is also good for treating cuts, chapped skin, scrapes, burns, and wounds and eczema.


TO USE:

Apply to skin as desired


INGREDIENTS:

>fresh cottonwood buds

extracted in

>organic and unrefined oils of jojoba, apricot, and avocado

>local, ethically harvested beeswax
