ABOUT THIS ITEM
A spagyric is an alchemical medicine preparation the offers a very whole medicine, both physically and energetically. After tincturing the plant matter you calcinate it by cooking it down into a pure white ash. This process is very time and labor intensive. You then soak the ash in water (spring water from the peak of our mountain) and filter out the waste, which is a teeny amount of minerals from the ash, and allow the remaining liquid to dissolve into its crystaline structure, the plant salts. Finally, you recombine it and have a whole, beautiful, medicinal preparation.
Shatavari is a beautiful plant in the asparagus family in which you use the root for medicine. I would say this is a woman's remedy. It is a jucifying herb, meaning it will increase wetness. If you are dry natured this medicine is very supportive. If you are a wet natured person this remedy will likely increase that. It is also adaptogenic so it could be balancing, depending on your constitution.
Shatavari also supports cardiac function, improves digestion, reduces anxiety, aids in weight loss, is a diuretic (makes you have to pee), supports the female reproductive system, is a rejuvinative tonic (adaptogenically), improves energy levels and strength, and is rich in antioxidants.
Consult your doctor or do not take if you are on diuretics or have heart disease.
