~SHISANDRA BERRY TINCTURE~
*this listing is for a 2 ounce amber glass bottle with dropper top* *please reuse or recycle*
ABOUT THIS ITEM
Shisandra berry is native to northern China and has documented medicinal uses for over 200 years in both Chinese and Japanese healing.
This amazing exotic fruit is not the type of berry that you would want to eat- as it has a very strange taste, in fact, it has all 5 flavors in one little berry- sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and pungent. I actually really enjoy the strange taste combination and love adding a few squirts of the tincture into lemonade.
This unique berry is really remarkable in its medicinal qualities. So much so, that when I first learned of it several years ago, I kind of went down a rabbit hole of information. It seems to be beneficial for almost every health issue.
Shisandra berry:
Improves Liver, adrenal, mental, energetic, cardiovascular, cellular, and hormonal function.
It decreases inflammation and anxiety.
Its hormonal balancing qualities makes it improve skin conditions, reduce hormonal headaches, and regulate abnormal cycles.
Its adaptogenic, so it will normalize glandular and metabolic systems.
It is a tonic herb, so it can be used daily over long periods of time.
This herb has stood the test of time and double blind placebo studies (that's the creme de la creme of scientific studies) as far as its medicinal benefits.
This year, I grew them for the first time in my garden. I didn't yield a huge crop, but I did grow enough to be able to share some of the medicine here, with you.
